Lanciamo una nuova open call che da la possibilità di partecipare a tutti gli artisti nazionali ed internazionali, dando vita ad un progetto che vuole essere un omaggio all’arte d’avanguardia del XX secolo e ricordare l’artista Henri Matisse. Invitiamo gli artisti a creare un’opera che abbia tutte le caratteristiche di un POSTER collezionabile.
TEMA DEL CONCORSO: LE BELVE-ricordare Henri Matisse
Dai ritratti ai ritagli, passando per le odalische e la celebre serie sulla danza, Henri Matisse riesce ad influenzare l’arte moderna e contemporanea tramite un nuovo linguaggio ed un forte studio sui colori.
I Fauves – letteralmente, le belve– è un movimento artistico nato ufficialmente al Salon d’Automne di Parigi nel 1905. Una delle prime vere correnti d’avanguardia del XX secolo, il fauvismo ha indignato i critici dell’epoca con accostamenti apparentemente casuali di colore puro.
L’obiettivo principale del progetto è quello di creare una mostra collettiva nella nostra galleria nel centro storico di Brescia selezionando 12 artisti, ognuno partecipante con un’opera che deve avere alcune caratteristiche per essere accettata:
1.Essere creata su un supporto di carta/cartone
2.Avere la dimensione 42 x 59,4 cm (format A2)
3.Avere un forte impatto visivo
4.Rispondere al tema del concorso
5.Avere almeno un elemento di grafia (scrittura); es. Titolo opera, Nome Artista, Data, Messaggio breve ecc.
Parole chiave: colore, puro, impatto, messaggio, belve, composizione, scrittura, calligrafia, carta, decorativo, collezionabile.

We invite artists to create a work that has all the characteristics of a collectible POSTER.
CONTEST THEME: THE BEASTS-remembering Henri Matisse
From portraits to cutouts, passing through the odalisques and the famous series on dance, Henri Matisse manages to influence modern and contemporary art through a new language and a strong study on colors.
The Fauves - literally,the beasts - is an artistic movement officially born at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 1905. One of the first true avant-garde currents of the 20th century, Fauvism outraged critics of the time with seemingly casual combinations of pure color.
The main objective of the project is to create a collective exhibition in our gallery in the historic center of Brescia by selecting 12 artists, each participating with a work that must have the following characteristics to be accepted:
1.Be created on a paper/cardboard support
2.Have the size 42 x 59.4 cm (A2 format)
3.Have strong visual impact
4.Respond to the theme of the contest
5.Have at least one element of writing; e.g. Title of work, Artist’s Name, Date, Short Message etc.
